Age Old Problem!
I have been fighting this battle for years, trying to keep my e-commerce Web
site working in both IE and Netscape. I did pretty good keeping up until IE
6.0 came out. I found several of my tags no longer worked in Netscape.
Statistics are that less than 20% of of Web surfers use Netscape anymore, so
I finally gave in and no longer worry about Netscape. I can do so much more
with IE and makes me half the work.
I know this didn't answer your question, but take it from a Web page
designer for years, it's no longer worth the battle.
Seems like each time Microsoft comes out with a browser upgrade, they cut
out functionality that used to work in Netscape. They are cutting them out,
little-by-little.
Good Luck!!
Larry
