Subject: [iis_applications] ASP pages not opening on Win2k when not
connected
Hi all p2p team!
I'm a beginner in this field. So this problem might sound quite trivial to
you.
I have Windows 2000 proffesional as OS & I've already setup IIS 5.0. But to
test it when I try to run the asp page say, localstart.asp(existing in the
system itself), I always get the message "Web page unavailable offline". My
connection is setup as 'Never dial a connection', yet I'm facing this
problem. But the page gets displayed when I'm online!! The html pages
existing in thew system are getting displayed offline. I tried setting up
IIS on another Win2000 platform which is having service pack 1.0 too. There
things are working perfectly. Do I have to upgrade my Win2000? PLease
suggest something soon so that I'm able to move further.
