Hello Folks,
I notice that there are two ways to create a virtual directory. Lets say I
have a root directory called c:\sports.
Under c:\sports, there are three directories called \football, \boxing and
\baseball. If I wanted to make each sub directory a virtual directory, I
would just right click on the sports directory and select new\virtual
directory. The rest is simple. However, I could also, go to the directory
property of one of the sub directories and select create under the
application settings section. This would also create a virtual directory.
What is the difference in both of these virtual directories? I did notice
that the path is displayed (in the MMC) for the virtual directories that are
created by right clicking on the root directory.
Thanks,
Anthony
