iis_applications thread: IIS Question

Message #1 by "Richard Mazgajewski" <mazman99@a...> on Wed, 5 Mar 2003 10:57:38 -0500
You might look at your IIS setup and verify your security settings. You
may need to tweak them until you get an adequate response. Sometimes
following the initial installation of IIS, there will be some issues
that may not make sense until you have gone through all of the settings
that were set during the installation.

Also verify that you have your website set as a web application. Then
verify that the ASP file extension is present in the Application
Mappings table under Configuration.

Hope this helps!

Thanks for the quick response.

Both the "Default Web Site" and the sub directories have Scripts and
Executables. It is almost as if ASP is not installed of maybe there is
a
patch for it. I know when reading the install of the IIS everything
should
be installed when the component is setup. Is there a site that have an
ASP
module that can be installed just to see if that make a difference?

Thanks Again
Rich...
