I am assuming that you wish users to access the data as opposed to obtaining
a copy of the whole database.
With this in mind, I suggest you develop ASP pages to access the data rather
than asking everybody to download the actual mdb file.
Hope this helps

Subject: I'm a rookie
I've been given the assignment to create an intranet site. I want to call an
Access 2000 database program from a link. I created a hyperlink to //
file:\\servername\dirname\filename.mdb. All our users have MS Access
installed. This is very slow if it works at all. Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Leslie
