interdev_programming thread: Failing to connect to server.
Dear Mark,
This is in addenum to what other have told you regarding the problem u
have described. I too encountered the same problem and in case you are
using Microsoft Office 2000 this might be the solution you are looking for.
After you install MS Office 2000 (along with the Frontpage 2000 and the
associated extensions) the previous FP extensions get overwritten and you
have to sort of remap the whole thing again. To do so open up the Server
Extensions Administrator (SEA) in the Microsoft Office Tools menu on the
Start menu bar. In the SEA using the console menu u need to register the
new server extensions and then your local Web Server. After that when u
select the option for creating a new VIntdev project your sever name should
be displayed in the server list. Just make sure that your Web Server is up
and running when u are trying to create a new project in VIntdev. I hope
