I have encountered the problem twice and solved it with not-so-smart
solutions. The first time I reinstalled my NT, the second time I switched
the computer!

This problem seems to be common, though real solutions are scarce.

I am working through 'Beginning E-Commerce with Visual Basic, ASP, SQL
Server and MTS'
I have Visual Interdev 6.0 installed on my PC
I am working with the chapter 'Creating the Microsoft Visual Interdev
Project'
I cannot get the wizard for creating a new project to connect with the
'server'
I have created everything as specified in the book but no matter what I try
the program returns'Cannot contact the server'
Is there something missing from my setup or am I doing something wrong.
I have PWS installed and I can contact the web page through the local server
