Have you tried a complete domain\username combination for login?   That
might be a problem.

I have a prob that's driving me insane:
when copying a web interdev keeps asking for:
username:
password:
Whatever I give it, it's wrong, so I end up copying the web across the using
windows explorer.
Was this MS's intention when they concocted Visual Studio?
