interdev_programming thread: Comments in V. Interdev in different colour

You set your colors under the Tools | Options menu. Then select Font And
Colors under Text Editor.

The Line, Column, and Character numbers should be displayed on the right
side of the status bar.

Subject:	[interdev_programming] Comments in V. Interdev in different
colour

Hi all,

1. I am a new user to Visual Interdev. as I used to use Home Site before.
Does anybody know how to make comments visually distinguished from code?
Eg: a different text colour.... What about HTML tags from script code,
can it be got in a different colour? Having the whole editor content in
one single colour is quite frustrating when coding... Thanks

2. How can I get the lines in the editor window numbered? When I debug and
get error messages in IE, I am also given the line number. Sometimes this
is Line 178... How can I go back to V. Interdev. and quickly find line 178
without having to count the lines one by one of course? I'm sorry to sound
really awkward. I suppose there must be a quick way to address this, I
just don't seem to find it.

any help will be appreciated

cheers

David
