By the way, I found a good walk-through of the procedure in a non-Wrox 
(gasp!) book, "Visual Basic 6.0 Advanced Topics" by Michael V. Ekedahl 
(Course Technology is the publisher).

Now I'm at the point where I'm going to deploy the project, and of course, 
there are difficulties, difficulties everywhere! I've got to figure out 
how to reinstall my Web Publishing Wizard, then find a free server that 
supports upload via the Wizard. (I already tried uploading to one server, 
www.brinkster.com, that offers free service for testing purposes. The 
problem is, however, that for free site hosting, you need to use 
brinkster's proprietary upload system.) 

Has anyone out there found a site to deploy these test applications to?
