interdev_programming thread: "Unexpected Error Occurred After Accessing Frontpage Web Files

Message #1 by "Kirsten Czupryna" <kirsten@t...> on Sat, 1 Mar 2003 18:57:34
Hi Kirsten,

Your System Log is usually your Event Viewer which you can find under
administrative tools, either under the control panel or the Start Menu
directly.

Why are you trying to use the WPW? AFAIK, it's not very commonly used
because it has some flaws. What exactly are you trying to publish? In most
scenario's simply FTP-ing your files should do (the popular XCOPY
deployment you hear a lot about these days in relation to ASP.NET)

If you need to register DLL's (I take it that the WroxCameras is a VB
project?) you need access to the server somehow. Other than that, simply
copying your files should do.

I have to leave now, so I'll try to answer your message about the Web
Matrix tomorrow.

Cheers,

Imar
