have a look round for a mail server that you can install on your system, for
example apache are creating one that you can use which supports IMAP, POP,
and SMTP amongst others. they can be found at www.apache.org otherwise you
need to find someone with an IMAP server, there isnt particularly any on the
web that are for public use so youll need to do one of the two. Mail servers
are a little difficult to work with unless you have a real one but with a
little bit of work you should not have too much problem.

Also if you pay for your own web site, they normally have an add on to
access IMAP folders but that is usually extra.
