Alan,
The solution you are looking for can be combined with asp, but does not
need asp to be accomplished. About the only reason asp would need to be
involved, would be to dynamically populate the drop-downs with information
from a database. Client side script, specifically DHTML, is used to create
the menu's. You can find useful, customizable samples of how to do this at:
http://www.brainjar.com/ in the DHTML section. From the basic understanding
of Layering in DHTML, and the differences between implementations of DHTML
and the Document Object Model (DOM) in Netscape and IE, will lead to more
advanced thought processes, ultimately leading to revisions of what you've
learned, including scripting the ability to rollover an Image and have the
DHTML layers popup the menus! Something to get you started, or at the very
least, point you in the right direction....
Happy programing!

Subject: drop-down menus?
Body: If you go to http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/index/default.asp you
will
see a light blue horizontal strip on the top of the page which
is a menu bar. If you hold the mouse over say, "RESOURCES" a very nice
drop-down menu appears with more choices. Does anyone of you know how to
accomplish this using asp? Alan Grobert

Do you know what you want from this list? How would you provide programmers
with the solutions they need? If you have the answers, and are willing to
work in Birmingham (UK), then you could be a List Manager. Please send CVs
and a covering letter to listsupport@p... for further information.
