open the flash page in a new window, and set the properities of that window
to no toolbar, menubar, links bar.. statusbar.. whatever

Can anyone tell me how to disable the backwards and forwards buttons in IE
or Netscape using Java Script.

The reason behind this is I'm using a frame running Flash content to
navigate through my site in a different frame.
