javascript thread: ActiveX warning in IE5

This is a Microsoft control (MCI32.OCX).  Wouldn't that be certified since 
it is part of the W98, W2K distribution? I assumed, by only using controls 
normally bundled with the OS, I would avoid the firewall issue; am I 
missing something?
