I've built a dynamic drop-down menu using visible and invisible div
and layer tags, and z-index positioning. Due to space contstraints, I've
designed the nav-bar and the page so that these menu layers drop down over
and on top of various content as you roll over them. It's done in an
elegant manner so it all looks well and good.
My problem: Forms in Netscape (IE is fine, as usual). No matter
what I do, I cannot get the Form elements to appear below the drop-down
layers. I've used every possible technique I can think of using z-index,
tables, placement, whatever. It seems that, no matter what, Form elements
in Netscape ALWAYS appear on top. I've combed through my books and
documentation, and can't find a solution.
Can anybody help me. Thanks.\
