Owning to the popularity of this list, we've decided to set up some parallel lists dedicated to more
specific topics within Javascript (and the P2P site now has a separate Javascript category

The new lists are:

Beginning_javascript -  for people starting out
Javascript_howto - for folks wanting to know how to get a particular effect in the browser
Javascript_objects - for discussing how to use the underlying object structure of the language
and
Javascript_validation - for people wanting to perform client-side input validation

Hopefully this will reflect the fact that a lot of what Javascripters do is beyond the realms of 
what can simply be describes as "Design". As always, write to us if you've any ideas for other
