I realize that I can't control the port directly with Javascript, but I'm
interested in controlling a PC-attached device in relation to things being
displayed/rendered by Internet Explorer in kiosk mode.

Can anyone recommend a product, or a good web site, that allows me to send
and receive strings from serial ports thru Javascript?
