javascript thread: navigator can't navigate

but at least in IE you have the option to view a notification of every
script error if you want to...

also I don't think its very good for users to not get an error, as then they
just think its not doing what its supposed to... at least if they get an
error they know something's wrong and they van inform the helpdesk.  Ok I
know the general public won't do that but when you have an extranet
application with registered users they will.

just my 2 cents -

there is an Errors option at
Tasks -> Tools -> Javascript Console 

or u could type javascript: in the address bar

even i'm curious to know how to explicitly make the errors as they happen. 

The feature was good for developers but i guess it was purposely removed so
as to not overwhelm general users. even IE shows the first error that
happens in the status bar & not as a alert window.
