So, am I right in thinking that your cd is on one machine & your client is
connecting to your machine from another machine?
If so, how are they connecting to your machine?

Chris, this isn't correct. we're making a CD to redistribuite it. It's in 
HTML, JS, XML and it contains PDF's and SWF... i'd like to put a link to 
download the PDF's without compress the files in ZIP (for example)... I'd 
like to download the same files that i open.
