Hi Pat,

try www.angryCoder.com for a good rant.

or if you feel that strongly about it why not go to webstandards.org and
see what you can do to help them. They also have an upgrade page that
links to all the latest browsers
http://www.webstandards.org/act/campaign/buc/

:-)

and
inconsistency of the major browers?

I've been in IT for over 30 years and the major players have STILL not
learned to talk to each other.

After all these years, you would have thought that they might have agreed
on
something!!!

By the way, my particular problem at the moment is positioning - I cannot
bear the nightmare of NS4 layers so its NS6, IE5+ or nothing (:-(

On a more serious note, I would like to put links onto my home page so that
users can download the latest versions of IE and Netscape - where can I
find
the icons?

One more thing - Opera 6.04 seems to have its own agenda when it comes to
positioning.

OK - rant over.

Cheers lads and lasses
Pat
