Do you wonder why your post isn't answered by anybody? Because it's
impossible to answer it without knowing what you do exactly. It's just
like
asking somebody how to close a door: maybe you just push it, maybe you
need
to enter a secret code before you could push it, maybe it's triggered
electronically somewhere. See what I mean?
All I can tell is that if you had given a name to your new window, say
dlwin, then
dlwin.close() is what you need. Of course, you should close it after
the
user had got your file, but I've no idea how we could know if a file
has
finished download. Maybe you could set a delay of one minute to your
new
window before closing it.
