After using either back or forward in Internet Explorer to navigate
between named anchors on the same page the location.hash property is longer
correct, continuing to read as the last anchor element which received
active and focus and not as is shown in the address bar. This is not true
of Netscape and Mozilla browsers which accurately keep the current
location.hash property in sync with that reported in the address bar.

I would like to know if anyone else has information regarding this bug and
any possible work arounds...
