javascript thread: SV: SV: internetexplorer.security.PrivilegeManager.disablePrivilege("UniversalBrowserWrite");
I just read my reply and it sounded a bit like I was just rambling on...
:-)
But, basically, what I wanted to say was that if you develop a site for
a specific
browser and platform, I believe that there are ways to block this
message.
But you won't find a way which will work cross all browsers and
platforms.
Hence, I don't recommend using this out on the Internet.

I think that's only in Netscape, as in:
netscape.security.PrivilegeManager etc...
But this is almost always only an option in a low security environment
(the default thing on Internet is that you will get that message).
One of the few environments where you can use this, is normally within
an intranet or something similar...
For IE, I believe that there is some ActiveX out there (don't know the
name or anything
else about it) that helps you avoid that message, but I think it works
in IE 5.5 but not in IE 6...

I'd like to disable alert message when closing main window, and I
understood it would help me, but it didn't, or it's my mistake.
Would some of you help me?
How do I use this?
