pro_java_server thread: RE: Problems with RMI example Ch 2 in Java Server Prog J2EE

Message #1 by "Minglong Wu" <mwu@u...> on Sun, 22 Apr 2001 20:25:21
Hi,

I have problem to get page 71 to work. I type the following:

1. javac *.java
2. rmic HelloServer
3. rmiregistry -J-Djava.security.policy=registerit.policy
4. rmid -J-Djava.security.policy=registerit.policy
5. java -Djava.security.policy=registerit.policy
-Djava.rmi.server.codebase=file://c:/projavaserver/chapter02/activatable/ RegisterIt

but I got invalid port range : 21

if there is no error, then I will type

6. java HelloClient localhost

What is the step to make it work?

Thanks.
