servlets/server-side Java are discussed) because there is a Call For
Votes (CFV) on the news.announce.newgroups Usenet newsgroup
concerning the proposal of two new Java newsgroups:

comp.lang.java.servlet
comp.lang.java.server-side

If you are not interested in Usenet or feel you wouldn't use the new
groups, please ignore this message and accept my apologies for
wasting your time. If, however, you'd be interested in such groups
(or feel they shouldn't be created), it would be great if you'd read
the CFV and vote if appropriate.

The subject line of the Call For Votes is: 
"CFV: comp.lang.java.{server-side, servlet}".
The article itself contains all the details of how to vote.

Discussion of the proposal should appear in the news.groups 
newsgroup - or you're welcome to contact me directly with any 
queries.
