let me add some more information.
i tried to install this in 2 hp pavilion machine, i
was geting the same error,but it worked fine in an IBM
machine, but now i doubt it has something to do with
the hardware.
here is the insallation procedure i followed.
a)formated the hard drive
b)loaded nt4.0
c)installed servicepack 6
d)installed IE6
e)installed IWS
after installing IWS and when i take a reboot it gave
watson error (httpd.exe violation.....)
also i get a message some events failed during
startup.
then i went to controlpanel and opened services and
tried to start IWS, again i get the same watson
message.
