pro_jsp thread: How to run JRun? - again

Message #1 by simonshibata@y... on Fri, 16 Jun 2000 19:27:30
As a clarification, I am running JRun 3.0 developer on my system and you
shouldn't need anything else. You can put classes in the same directory
as you put your JSPs. I think there may be other ways but this will work.
I believe the directory is: JRun\servers\default\default-app\
I have been running Javabeans from that directory although not Servlets.
Your JSPs will run on your default server at:
http://localhost:8100/ filename.jsp
Let me know how it goes.

What platform are you running on?
I had the impression that JRun was pretty much a servlet engine in
itself
(inc. JVM), and (apart from a compiler & class libraries) you shouldn't
really need J2EE & co. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
No disrespect to this avenue of discourse, but I suggest you *also*
subscribe to Sun's servlet-interest mailing list.

Cheers,
Danny.
