TEMPDIR

this TEMPDIR is beyond  control of PHP3 script to setting() to reset the
TEMPDIR, is there work around?
what will the file name the example is not clear.
I am not able to upload files using the script.

I am using Free BSD (Unix)& Apache server
How can I reset the TEMPDIR value in the webserver for the Webuser? ( do I
have some change conf file?)

I am really stuck with my project for the above issue, please try to help
me.
