Yes, I've programmed in Basic and Filemaker Pro and some CGI. I guess my
question is with the book because the code didn't seem to declare what
the variable was a variable of :-)
Just saying something is variable but without assigning it a value or a
range or an array seemed like reading a dictionary with a list of words
but without definitions.
Like, how does var $seshid know that it is the ID stamp of a particular
session, rather than the ID of my browser type Is that an SQL constant
