Dont worry about it. What I do is have two enviroments...
Linux/Production
NT/Developing I Query the AS400 for all the data without having to upload
anything to the production web server. Its a little slower but it does not
affect the production server

(on a 500 MHz computer).  The rest of the performance was so bad that I
didn't even get to try functionality.  I closed it and uninstalled."

That Bad? Hmmm I guess I'll keep using Homesite and Dreamweaver
