After rereading your email, you DID ask for a PHP solution which Nikolai did
say was impossible.

As for javasscript, I believe the only way to do it is what you already
have.  Also keep in mind that the code you have is supposed to only work in
Internet Explorer.  Netscape Navigator may have adopted it, but you will
have to test to see what versions.
