I have purchased bith of Rockford Lhotka's books Visual Basic 6 Business 
Objects and  Visual Basic 6 Distributed Objects.  In the first book 
Rockford implements the BrokenRules class and references the class in the 
Load method of each object to ensure that the rules are set to false (not 
broken).  He does not provide a method for addressing such issues with 
Child objects in his second book (Visual Basic 6 Distributed Objects) even 
though he mentions the issue in passing (but doesn't implement the 
concept).  Can you advise how Rockford addresses child objects that are 
loaded from the database and have a number of BrokenRules set at 
initialise.  No 'Load' event is called for each child so I can't reset the 
Rules and therefore the IsValid flag.
 
Any assistance would be appreciated.
