Question 1:

I know this might sound rather funny? But, I wonder if there is some coding
available that one can implement to avoid usage of any of the OCXs below;

    COMDLG32, SHDOCVW, MSINET, MSMAPI32, MSCOMCTL

Any tip is welcome.

Question 2:

I have some coding which does text file of max 20Kb reading and parsing.
Parsed string variables are then assigned to related fields in a database.
These operations are batch controlled via a timer with an interval of 5
secs. My problem is; the executable is only 32 Kb, however, during run time
memory usage is as high as 4.5 Mb. I use "option explicit" to avoid variant
type mem usage, but it didn't work either .. What do you think the reason
might be?
