In the first place thanks to all because I could solve the string problem.

I have a problem using the WriteFile API. If I want to write a string
variable into a file using this api, how can I do, because this api accepts
as an argument the number of bytes to write and the number of bytes written.
How can I find out these values. Any conversion function??
