pro_vb thread: Pay per Hour

Message #1 by "Nicolas Raitman" <new_world@r...> on Tue, 19 Sep 2000 20:24:31 -0300
Hey man, thanks for you cooperation with me. Well I know, even though I am
going to study at the University yet I do not have a degree, but vb
programmer is a vb programmer. Now I am working on small projects, in which
I do not have to understand all those concepts you told me. However I do not
know if I told you, but I program in C for Linux, I am making a course on
Linux Servers administration, I know Perl, PHP, HTML and I am starting with
JAVA. I mean, in C I learnt a lot about Data Structures, and regarding RDBMS
I also read some things. I hope I can get something higher but if not I will
not complain, is my first job :)

Thanks,
Nicolas

Nicholas,

Don't get disheartened !! Only VB won't get you anywhere. Learn the
concepts of RDBMS, Data structure, network protocols, some history
about the
softwares and the industry-evolution (don't be panicked - you'd like to
read
once you start), client-server concepts. Probably become an MCSD with
MCSE
both - and of course a degree holder - no shortcuts...then demand
40$...you'll get it...

Best of luck,
Biswajit
