Thanks Gregg. I appreciate your insight. I'd agree with you re:
understanding the pro's and con's of various models. I also understand
the need for not holdnig database connections. What had me scratching my
head is the techniques for non-db (ie. business) components. I sort of
come to OO programming from a "theory" perspective, where VB's
implementation is one I actually work with. To some degree, VB is asking
me to give up on some (more) of the OO theory. Programming for MTS/Com+
is such a large departure from my understanding of OOP, that I felt I was
missing something. I think I'm on-board now. I'll "go with the flow".
