Just wanted to give a heads up to everyone...I've been researching OLAP
tools and came across a product by DataDynamics called DynamiCube.
It's one of the easiest and most powerful Olap tools I've come across.
Seagate Software has an OLAP tool called Seagate Analysis but it's so
rudimentary and slow that there's no point in using it. Dynamic Cube is
better than the VS flex grid because you can easily shift dimensions and
pivot. And it's  easy to use.  It can literally take 30 seconds to set up
and implement (the time to create the SQL statement for the control). While
the dyanmic cube doesn't do everything I'd like it to, the strengths
definitely outweigh its weaknesses.  You do need a strong client workstation
with lots of memory so it may not be practical in all cases, but I
definitely recommend it to anyone who wants to be able to analyze data that
resides in a database!
