I *think* functioning accross untrusted domains was a big reason for the
development of SOAP--you might have a look at that as well...

I'm not too familiar with it, but check the documentation for RDS.

Subject: [pro_vb] Application development
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for me about writing an
application that needs to function accross the internet and untrusted
domains. I need to be able to logon to the foregn domain and get the info I
need then log off. I have the app working except for the foregn domain. I
was thinking of DCOm but do not know if this will work across untrusted
domains. any ideas are helpful, thanks.
