I have never heard of the version of
crystal reports that you installed
on your machine, but my suspicion
is that it doesn't contain any 
application development components.

Meaning...you may be able to create,
print, edit, etc, your crystal reports
but all that is done through Crystal
Reports API via the crystal executable.

The actual crystal reports runtime stuffs
does not require the .OCX to be present
since the .OCX is just a control that 
wraps the API calls in a convenient way.

My suggestions are that either you 
obtain the full version of Crystal Reports
or wait until .NET is released and
use the crystal version that comes
with the development tools or perhaps
if you have an old version of VB 4 Pro
around, you can install the crystal
reports that came with that version
(CR 4).
