pro_vb thread: illegal operation

Could be a buggy printer driver...Have you tried to see what it does on a
another printer, or alternatively just re-installing your current printer.
Spool32.exe by the way is the Windows print service, and you need it to
print anything!

Have a similar problem, after opening and editing an AR designer form
(Report) if I do not close the AR form and save the project and wait 3
seconds. I get PF error running or opening other project files. Let me know
if you find a better solution or work around.

Subject:	[pro_vb] illegal operation

hi,
Can any one tell me about the common error message "This program has
performed an illegal operation and will be shut down".
What causes this message to appear?
My config-
    OS- Win98, PIII-555 Mhz, 160MB RAM
    VB6 / MSAccess97
I am using a third party s/w "Activereports" to generate reports from my
application. Whenver I run a particular report and after that open a
particular form this error message appears and the application is
closed down.
I think the file c:\windows\system\spool32.exe has something to do with
this because if i end this task from the task manager after running the
report and then try to open that particular form it works successfully
but the problem is that all the installed printers gets vanished from
the printers folder and further printing becomes impossible and I have
to restart the machine to get the installed printers back.
Somebody please help me with this. I am in urgent need.
Thanks.
