If your VB program uses just the basic controls
that loads with VB IDE on default, then all you
need to install is the VB6.0 runtime. You can
get this at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads
If your program has data access controls
or uses DAO or ADO, then you will probably
have to install the latest MDAC. You can get
this at http://www.microsoft.com/data.
If there are other controls that you use
in your program that aren't in either group,
then you must create a setup program from
your development machine. You can use
either the Package and Deployement Wizard
or the Visual Studio Installer to create
this setup program. Hope this helps.
