OK, I got it. After much fooling around looking at the vb.ini and the
vbaddin.ini, I finally went into the registry and substituted Object Cycle
with Source Safe in the SourceCodeControlProvider\ProviderRegKey entry so
Source Safe is now the default.
Phew!

Subject: [pro_vb] RE: Change Source Control Software
I unchecked the Loaded/Unloaded and Load at Startup in the AddIn Manager to
stop the ObjectCycle from loading. Then I made sure there was a reference
for Source Safe for the project. I couldn't find a reference for
ObjectCycle. When I restarted VB and turned the Source Control
Loaded/Unloaded back on, I was hoping it would ask me which one to use but
it uses ObjectCycle automatically and I haven't been able to figure out how
to change the default. Do you think I may need to reload VB?
