It is not easy to answer your question. There are so many VB books and web
sites out there
that the best book for you really depends on your background.
I read the online MSDN documentation (which has many very good tutorials at
every level) and
than I subscribed to Visual Basic Programmer Journal (now renamed Visual
Studio Magazine)
and started visiting web sites only after I had a reasonable understanding
of the language so
I could make a fair judgment (now my favorite are vb2themax and DevX). But I
am a seasoned
programmer (I started in 77 with Fortran IV), other people went to a
completely different path.
If you are new to VB, please consider going directly to .NET, which everyone
of us will do
sooner or later.
