i have to write applications related to digital signal processing (more
specifically speech processing). I have the complete MATLAB source code, and
now want to write an application that executes these. I know MATLAB has a C
compiler, but the VERY NEAR deadline is forcing the application in VB for
faster development. Does anyone have an idea on VB's floating point
performance? The application is going to be computationally intensive, and I
don't know if VB can produce an output fast enough. Does anyone have an
experience on this? How well(and how fast) does VB perform floating point
operations?
