hi,

For displaying the Tiff images we are using Kodak imaging component. This
is directly available in the Visual Basic components in the IDE.

> Picture Boxes cannot handle Tif files. To do so you need a third party
tool. I have reviewed 3 tools and used two of them. The most powerful
I think is LEAD tools from LEADTools inc. However, I find their product
to be poorly documented and I did not find their support very helpful.
I liked the Kodak free tool, but it is very basic. However, given the
fact that the free tool is a good tool, it might be worthwhile to try
out the full tool. Lastly, I tried a tool from Pegasus corp. (the name
I think is ImageXpress), I thought it was good, but was able to resolve
my tif issues without it, so I never bought a full version and hence,
never used it in serious development.

Subject: [pro_vb] How to read tif images into picture box?

What is the best way to read a tif file and place the image as a picture

in a Picture Box? Also, once the image is there, what is the fastest way

to zoom and rotate (in 90deg increments) the image? I would appreciate=20
anyone's help... thank you
