Has anybody implemented (or can provide me with pointers to some information
on) a mechanism to provide for an expiration date for demo software?  When
the trial period expires, the software should disable itself.

I could place an entry in the registry, but it seems that anybody who had
the slightest idea of how to run regedit could circumvent that.  And
compiling the expiration date into the executable doesn't seem appealing
either.

Can anyone help?
