Hi

I got an application to create for a customer, for all tense and purpose's
they rent out equipment all across europe. This equipment is assembled by a
crew the equipment is used for one or two weeks then the crew dismantle it
and move on the next location.

They currently plan this out by hand in excel and can take about two or
three days to do as they are planning for about 8 - 10 months ahead, once
they leave the depot they only return at the end of the year. Creating an
application that groups the right equipment for each job is not to
difficult, the problem lies in the routing, getting the right bits from one
job to the next via road or sea.

What I'm looking for is a component that will allow me to create an object
on screen to represent the job with the required materials and to be able to
plan the route from one job to the next, and be able to reroute if a job
changes, is cancelled or a new job is taken on.

Is there such an Item

any thoughts on this much appreciated
