You will have to upgrade to a newer version of Crystal. The version
that comes with VB is like CR v. 4 or something. The current version
8.5. If you buy CR 8.5, you will have no problems. Also, make sure you
get the Developer edition, not the Pro edition. I bought the Pro
thinking it would do what I wanted, but it didn't so I had to buy the
upgrade to Developer.
Hope that helps.

Subject: [pro_vb] VB6 and Access2000 and Crystal Report Pro
Hi All,
I code in VB6 using Access2000 as the database. I try
to generate some reports using the Crystal Report Pro
that came with my VB6. As I try to set up the
database, it came up with this error
File c:\mydata.mdb is not a known database type.
Please choose again.
Apparently, it works fine for Access97. What can I do
to overcome this problem. I have already installed the
SP5.
