In terms of win32 client apps what is the reality of vb6 vs .Net.
Is there a real advantage in moving to .Net.

I can understand the advantages of .Net in wide scale distributed 
applications but in terms of win32 client apps does .Net have an edge worth 
the learning curve of the move.
